As I reflect
on my year as Miss Rodeo Airdrie 2013 and the start of the 2014 Airdrie Pro
Rodeo, it is a bitter sweet feeling. I have had such an amazing year
representing the Airdrie Rodeo and Ranch Association, Airdrie Pro Rodeo and the
City of Airdrie. All I have to say is THANK-YOU for the amazing opportunity to
represent such an amazing committee of people, as well as an incredible city!
A HUGE
THANK-YOU goes out to all of my amazing sponsors who have helped me, get down
the road looking amazing and making sure I get to where I am going. The year as
Miss Rodeo Airdrie would not have been the same without every one of you! I had
the opportunity to attend over 100 events in Canada and the United States
representing the sport that I love and a city that opened its arms to me. I was
able to travel to Omak Washington, Coeur D’Alene Idaho, Binghamton New York,
Denver Colorado to the WESA Market with Jim Nevada and the Staff of Roper,
Stetson, Tin Haul. As well as so many
amazing community events and CPRA Rodeos.
A HUGE
Thank-you to my parents, who have supported my dreams always, been there for me
when I needed them most, gotten up at the crack of dawn to help me bring in my
horse, help me load my truck, get ready
to go or just were up to say have a great time! Without them I would not have
made it down the road. I can’t even put into words how truly grateful I am for
all of your support. Of course a huge thank- you to all of my family whether
you opened your house to me so I could get ready or so I had a place to sleep,
you are all amazing and I appreciate all of your help and support.
A huge
thank-you to Leanne Grenier the Airdrie Rodeo Royalty Director for all you have
done for me this year and for all of the hard work and huge piece of your heart
that you have put into the Airdrie Rodeo Royalty Program without you the
program would not be the same.
Thank you to
Rob and Haley Brietzke for opening your house to me when I needed somewhere to
stay. Also thank you to everyone who offered me a place to stay during the
crazy times of year. I am grateful for all you have done for me!
I have had
such an amazing and unforgettable experience that I will cherish for the rest
of my life. It feels like just yesterday they called my name and gave me the
opportunity to represent the Airdrie Pro Rodeo on my “Ride of a Lifetime.”
To the 2014
Airdrie Rodeo Royalty: This year will be a year to remember. Enjoy every second
of it as it goes by so quickly. It’s a rewarding experience that you will
cherish forever, you will see so much growth in yourself and each other. I wish
you safe travels and all the best throughout your journeys.
Last but
certainly not least, THANK-YOU to the residents of Airdrie. You are an
incredible community and it has been an honor to have been given the opportunity
to represent you for the last year, Airdrie will always hold a special place in
my heart. I am really looking forward to representing the Airdrie Pro Rodeo and
the City of Airdrie at the Miss Rodeo Canada Pageant in November.
Happy Trails!!

Reinboldt-Lynch,
